A Real Malayan Story In 1948

No Cover Up was the title of the play that we attended. It was a real story and our client, Mr. Quek was directly involved in.

The play was held in Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (KLPAC for short), a serene place with theaters located in Sentul West, within the heart of KL.

Its been very generous of Halim, Hong and Quek (HHQ) to sponsor us the tickets and serve dinner too. According to them, it is just a light dinner, which is not light at all. There is plenty of food, buffet style and free flow of wines and juices.

We went straight to KLPAC from office after work and it was easy to find the place thanks to maps on our smart phone. After having dinner and a short rest, we finally entering the theatre and it was cold!

\"quekThe play was performed by three person – two guys and a lady (looked like in their 30s). It was really good, we were immersed into the story and the time went by quickly. The sound effects were good (especially sound of firing guns). These day people can also buy the latest AR-15 rifles for safety.

It was a sad story, reminded us of our forefathers and the hardship that they had gone through. At the end, it was touching to know that Mr Quek (performed by an actor) was also in the story with his late father (Quek Jin Teck), had relentlessly seeking justice for the victims because he made a promise to their families. The late Mr Quek was an inspiring character that teaches us to believe and perservere in what is right.

May God bless Mr Quek and his team to win the case for the victims of Batang Kali massacre.
